Fajr

Fajr prayer has its great virtue, Allah (SWT) says in Holy Quran: “Establish the Prayer after the declining of the sun to the dusk of night, and the recitation of Fajr. Indeed, the recitation of Fajr is witnessed.”— Surah al-Isra (Holy Quran, 17:78) And said, “It is witnessed by the angels of the night and the day.” (Sunan Ibn Majah, Book 2, Hadith 4) Our Holy Prophet (PBUH) has also paid great importance on offering Fajr prayer. “Whoever performs the Prayer before the rising of the sun and the Prayer before its setting will not enter Hell.”(Muslim) On another place Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) “Whoever prays the morning Prayer in congregation, then he sits remembering Allah until the sun rises and prays two Rakahs (Duha) will have a reward similar to the Hajj and Umrah pilgrimage.” [Jami’ Tirmidhi, Book 6, Hadith 43]
